Ingredients for Cheese Button Cookies
- 125 gr unsalted butter
- 25 g of powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 85 gr grated cheddar cheese
- 250 gr all-purpose flour
Glaze
- 45 gr egg white
- 200 gr icing sugar (I use 160 gr)
- 1/2 tsp vinegar/lemon/lime juice
- Mocha and strawberry paste for motifs
- *** Whisk all ingredients until thickened, take 3 tsp each, add pasta for motif, put in piping bag
How to Make Cheese Button Cookies
- 1. Mix butter and powdered sugar with a whisk as long as it's smooth.
- 2. Enter the egg yolks, mix well, add the cheese, mix well.
- 3. Enter the flour, stir with a large spoon until it becomes a dough that can be formed.
- 4. Roll out the dough 0.5 cm on baking paper, print using a cookie cutter, remove the remaining dough.
- 5. Bake with baking paper, the temperature is 150C, fire up and down for 15-20 minutes, remove and let cool.
- 6. Grease with glaze, give motif, separate each cookie and store in a baking dish.
- 7. Bake at 125C until the glaze hardens.
