Ingredients

  • 1200 ml coconut milk from 1 coconut
  • 300 gr sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 pandan leaves, conclude.
  • 250 gr medium protein flour
  • 250 gr tapioca flour
  • 1 tsp white color.
  • 1 tsp whiting water (take clear water)
  • Orange, purple and blue food coloring
  • Square tin measuring 16 x 16 x 7 cm

How to make

  • 1. Cook coconut milk, sugar, salt & pandan leaves. Stir so the coconut milk doesn't break. Msk until boiling. Remove & cool, remove pandan leaves.
  • 2. Add flour, tapioca flour and whiting water. Stir until smooth and not lumpy then sieve so that there are no lumps of flour.
  • 3. For the motif: take 120 ml of dough, add purple, 120 ml add blue, each color above add 1 tablespoon tapioca, mix well. Put it in a sauce bottle.
  • 4. Remaining white dough: Take 440 ml of dough + orange color, then the rest + 1 tsp of white dye, mix well.
  • 5. Heat a steamer and a greased baking sheet. Cover the pot wrapped in a napkin.
  • 6. Take the orange dough as much as 110 ml, pour it into the pan, steam for 5 minutes. Add 110 ml of white dough and steam for 5 minutes. Add more blue dough as much as 110 ml, steam for 5 minutes.
  • 7. Add 75 ml of white dough, steamed for 5 minutes.
  • 8. Create a woven motif: make three lines with a width of 5, 3 cm each. The line on the right and left sides is sprayed with blue dough, the line in the middle is sprayed with purple. Steam 5 minutes. Add 75 ml of white dough, steam for 5 minutes.
  • 9. The second layer motif, spray the blue dough on the right line slightly sliding it to the right, and sliding it slightly to the left for the blue line on the left, for the purple line in the middle, spray it on the left and right. Steam 5 minutes. Pour 75 ml of white dough, steam for 5 minutes.
