Hash Brown Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 tsp onion powder (can be replaced with 1 spring onion, take the white part, then slice it finely)
  • Salt, sugar, black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

How to Make Hash Brown

  • 1. Grate potatoes, wash clean, boil briefly until half cooked, drain
  • 2. Mix boiled grated potatoes with all other ingredients
  • 3. Take a little dough, fry, taste, if the taste is right, form the dough on a baking sheet that has been lined with baking paper/plastic, then freeze it in the freezer.
  • 4. Fry hash brown until golden brown over medium heat, serve
  • Note: drain the boiled potatoes until they are completely dry, so you don't need to add a lot of flour. The need for flour is adjusted to the dough, if you feel the dough is too wet, add a little more flour.
