Tiropita
Ingredients
- 8-10 sheets of filo pastry
- 6 tbsp melted butter
- 300 g feta cheese
- 200 gr ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- White sesame seeds to taste
How to make
- 1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
- 2. In a bowl, make the stuffing. Mix the beaten eggs and both types of cheese. Blend with a fork until well blended.
- 3. Take 2 sheets of filo pastry. Grease with melted butter. Cut 5-6 pieces lengthwise. Cover the unprocessed filo pastry so it doesn't dry out.
- 4. Take 1 tablespoon of stuffing. Carefully fold the filo pastry into a triangle. Do it until the ingredients run out.
- 5. Arrange the pastry triangles on the baking tray. Grease with remaining melted butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
- 6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until browned and crispy. Turn off the oven.
- 7. Serve tiropita while warm.
