Ingredients

  • 8-10 sheets of filo pastry
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • 300 g feta cheese
  • 200 gr ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • White sesame seeds to taste

How to make

  • 1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a bowl, make the stuffing. Mix the beaten eggs and both types of cheese. Blend with a fork until well blended.
  • 3. Take 2 sheets of filo pastry. Grease with melted butter. Cut 5-6 pieces lengthwise. Cover the unprocessed filo pastry so it doesn't dry out.
  • 4. Take 1 tablespoon of stuffing. Carefully fold the filo pastry into a triangle. Do it until the ingredients run out.
  • 5. Arrange the pastry triangles on the baking tray. Grease with remaining melted butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
  • 6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until browned and crispy. Turn off the oven.
  • 7. Serve tiropita while warm.
