Ingredients

  • 150 g of sticky rice
  • 225 g water
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Salt, a little
  • 1 tbsp onion oil (fry 3 cloves of garlic in olive oil)

Toppings

  • 75 g peanuts that have been roasted/roasted 30 g granulated sugar (blender until smooth)
  • Fried Onion (I skipped)

Method

  • 1. Put the glutinous rice flour, sugar & salt into a bowl, pour in the water & onion oil, then stir until smooth.
  • 2. Pour the mixture into a glass bowl, steam over boiling water over high heat for 15 minutes.
  • 3. Prepare the toppings on a large tray.
  • 4. After the muah chee dough is cooked & slightly cold, use a silicone spatula to transfer the dough to the peanut mixture.
  • 5. Cut the muah chee into small pieces and coat with the peanut mixture.
  • 6. Sprinkle with fried onions.
