Ingredients for Green Bean Jackfruit Banana compote

  • 400 gr green beans, soak overnight
  • 2 pandan leaves, make a knot
  • 8 pcs ripe jackfruit, diced
  • 3 bananas, cut a bit thick
  • 1500 water
  • 120 gr granulated sugar (adjust to the desired level of sweetness)
  • 350 ml thick coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt

How to Make Banana Jackfruit Green Beans Compote

  • 1. Boil water in a saucepan until it boils. Add green beans, pandan leaves, and sugar. Cook over medium heat until the green beans are soft.
  • 2. Add coconut milk. Stir well. Then add the jackfruit and banana pieces. Turn down the fire. Cook until the gravy is thick enough and the green beans are really soft. Turn off the fire. Serve warm.
