Pickled Guava

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs guava, peeled and cut lengthwise
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp key lime juice
  • 215 ml water
  • 1 clove of crushed garlic
  • Salt, mushroom broth to taste

Ground spices

  • 9 pcs curly red chili
  • 10 pcs red chili
  • 1 sachet of grilled shrimp paste
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ebi

The method

  • 1. Wash the guava pieces, drain. Arrange in a closed cabinet/container
  • 2. Pour water in a pan, add all the spices, add salt, mushroom broth, crushed garlic, sugar, key lime juice and cook until cooked. Taste correction
  • 3. Remove and let warm then pour over the pieces of guava then cover and store in the refrigerator.
  • 4. Serve after cold
