Tempe Burger
Ingredients
- 6 burger buns
- 6 slices of cheese
- 6 lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
Patty Ingredients
- 1 pack chicken pasta sauce 290 gr
- 1 pack of tempeh, 400 gr
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 4 cloves of garlic, fry briefly until fragrant and then mashed
- 1 tbsp parsley or oregano
- 1 tsp sugar
- 5 tbsp cornstarch
- For a spicier taste, you can add 1 tablespoon chili powder and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
Coating Material
- 1 egg, beaten
- 200 gr bread flour
- Enough oil for frying
How to make
- 1. Patty burger: steam the tempeh for 30 minutes. Then lift and puree with a mortar.
- 2. Add the mashed garlic, salt, sugar, parsley and cornstarch, stir until smooth.
- 3. Add the pasta sauce, then stir until everything is well combined.
- 4. Use plastic to shape the dough so it doesn't stick. Divide the dough into 6 pieces. When finished, freeze in the freezer for 1 hour.
- 5. Take out the dough then dip into the beaten egg then coat with breadcrumbs while compacting and trimming the shape.
- 6. Heat oil and fry until slightly brown. Lift.
- 7. Arrange the burger with the tempeh patty, lettuce, slice cheese and tomato
