Ingredients

  • 800 gr minced beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 gr white bread, torn
  • 120 ml liquid milk
  • 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 pc onion, finely chopped
  • Italian Spice Mix (oregano, rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Right amount of oil

How to make

  • 1. In a bowl, soak the white bread with milk.
  • 2. Prepare a food processor / other container. Mix ground beef, eggs, milk bread, garlic, onions, Italian Spice Mix, cinnamon powder, cardamom, paprika, and cumin. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Puree and mix until smooth.
  • 3. Round the dough.
  • 4. Keftedes can be cooked in a skillet or baked in the oven. Prepare a frying pan / oven 200C fire up and down.
  • 5. Just enough cooking oil. Fry/bake the keftedes until cooked on both sides. Serve while hot.
