Ingredients Gurandil / Cenil Cut
- 250 grams of tapioca flour / starch
- 50 grams of flour
- 400 ml of plain cold water
- 200 ml boiling water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Grated coconut to taste, steamed for wrapping
- Enough sugar for sprinkling.
How to Make Gurandil / Cenil Cut
- Prepare the steamer. Heat until the steaming water boils.
- Meanwhile, mix the cornstarch, flour and salt, mix well and then add 400 ml of water, mix well until there are no lumps.
- Cook 200 ml of water until it boils, then pour it directly into the flour mixture, stirring quickly until well blended.
- Divide the two equally and then each is colored according to taste.
- Pour into a heat-resistant container that has been greased and covered with plastic. Steam for about 25 minutes.
- Remove from the steamer and cool. Once cool, cut into pieces according to taste using a plastic knife or plastic spatula.
- Roll the gurandil pieces in the grated coconut. Remove, serve with a sprinkling of granulated sugar or with brown sugar kinca sauce
