Lupis Pandan

Ingredients

  • 250gr glutinous rice
  • 1 tsp pandan paste Toffieco
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Enough water
  • Banana leaves for wrapping
  • 2 pandan leaves, knot
  • 1/2 of grated coconut, add a pinch of salt. Steam for 15-20 minutes.

How to make

  • wash the glutinous rice, give pandan drops. Stir well. Add enough water, soak the glutinous rice for at least 1 hour.
  • Drain the water, add salt. Stir well. Prepare the banana leaves. (Me: 7cm wide). Wrap glutinous rice.
  • boil water in a pan with pandan leaves until it boils, add sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves until submerged.
  • Boil 5 minutes, turn off the stove. Leave in the pan for 30 minutes. Boil again 7 minutes. Lift and drain. Serve lupis with grated coconut and brown sugar sauce.

Gulmer Sauce Ingredients

  • 150gr brown sugar
  • 50ml water
  • 2 pandan leaves, knot
  • pinch of salt
  • how to make– > cook all the ingredients until the brown sugar dissolves and boils. Chill.
