What is Miss Sweet Cake?
This market snack has a shape that is almost the same as a talam cake. Using the basic ingredients of coconut milk, this sweet miss cake has a savory and sweet taste. The texture is soft like pudding. it tastes even more delicious with coconut milk vla in the middle.
How Many Minutes to Steam Sweet Miss Cake?
We steam it using medium heat for 20 minutes and until the sweet miss cake is cooked perfectly. after 20 minutes we remove the sweet miss cake from the steamer and then let it cool, after it cools we take it out of the mold.
Material A
- 1 egg
- 125 grams of powdered sugar / granulated sugar that is blended
- 125 gr all-purpose flour (medium protein)
- 250 ml coconut milk, medium thickness
Material B
- 150 ml pandan juice (from 7 pandan leaves + water)
- 120 ml coconut milk, medium thickness
- 50 gr sugar
- 30 gr cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
Material C
- 250 ml coconut milk, medium thickness
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp full all purpose flour / medium protein (15 g)
- 1/4 tsp salt
How to Make Sweet Miss Cake
- * Ingredients A: beat the eggs with sugar until dissolved, add the coconut milk and flour little by little while stirring until blended.
- * ingredient B: mix all ingredients B, cook while continuing to stir until it explodes
- * Transfer to another container, pour in the mixture of ingredients A little by little while stirring until smooth / there are no lumps. Then strain, set aside.
- * ingredient C: dissolve the flour with a little coconut milk, then add the rest of the ingredients, cook until it explodes. Place into a sauce bottle, set aside
- * prepare a mortar cake mold. Lightly grease with oil. Pour the green mixture to 3/4 the height of the mold. Then spray enough white dough right in the middle
- * steamed for 10-15 minutes, remove. Let it cool completely before removing it from the mould. Because if it's still hot, the cake is still soft, so you have to wait for it to cool before it sets.
