Cookie Ingredients
- 150 gr margarine for VITA
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 250 gr low protein flour
- 10 gr cornstarch
- tsp vanilla powder
How to Make Cookies
- 1. Beat the butter and powdered sugar well, use a mixer on low speed for a minute.
- 2. Enter the egg yolks, beat well.
- 3. Enter the flour, cornstarch and vanilla powder, sifted. Stir until smooth.
- 4. Wrap in plastic, refrigerate for 30 minutes, so that it is easy to print.
- 5. Print, arrange on a baking sheet, bake for 30 minutes at 140°C, or until cooked through.
- 6. Cool to room temperature.
- 7. Garnish with Royal Icing, then bake another 100°C 5-10 minutes or until the royal icing is dry.
Royal Icing Ingredients
- 300 g powdered sugar
- 2 egg whites
- tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Food coloring
How to Make Icing
- 1. Pour powdered sugar into a bowl, sifted.
- 2. Add lemon juice and vanilla.
- 3. Add the egg whites, little by little with a spoon, mix well with a spatula. Stop adding egg whites when the dough is just right, thick and doesn't sink easily.
- 4. Mixer speed is low for a while so that it is even.
- 5. Divide the royal icing into several bowls.
- 6. Give each - each color.
- 7. For the outline material, let the royal icing be thicker. As for the inside (flood) you can add egg whites with a spoon, mix well until the consistency is just right, not too thick but not runny either.
- 8. Put it in a piping bag, and it's ready to be used to decorate cookies.
