180ml water/milk (I used 2 tablespoons of powdered milk, diluted with water to 180ml)
115gr sweetened condensed milk
6gr yeast
3g salt
30gr butter
1 tsp taro paste (my addition)
Taro Stuffing
100gr steamed taro, puree
25gr sugar
1 tbsp milk powder
25gr butter
30ml water
A little taro paste
Mix all ingredients and cook on low heat
Spread
1/2 Egg Yolk Mixed with 1 Tbsp Liquid Milk
Toppings
Almond Slice
How to make
1. Mix flour, milk, skim, yeast, knead until smooth (I use a bosch mixer for 6 minutes) add butter and salt, knead until elastic, add taro paste, knead until well blended
2. Round the dough, cover and rest for 1 hour until it doubles in size
3. Deflate the dough and divide by 9, round and rest for 10 minutes, roll, roll, roll, fill and shape, place on a baking sheet that has been lined with baking paper/smeared, rest for 45m -1hour until it doubles in size, spread and give toppings
4. Bake in a preheated oven, 175C for 35-40 minutes (I only 25 minutes) depending on each oven.
