Ingredients

How to Make Bread

  • 1. Mix flour, cornstarch, milk powder, yeast, baking powder and powdered sugar, mix well. Add water little by little until well blended. Add white butter and salt, knead until smooth. Divide the dough according to the desired color. Roll the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • 2. Deflate the dough, roll out until thin. Place the colored dough on top of the white dough, roll together. Roll the dough until it is solid.
  • 3. Cut the dough into pieces of 1 cm, flatten the dough, add the filling, round the dough, put on a parchment paper, rest for 15 minutes. Steam in a steaming hot pot for 10 minutes, once cooked turn off the stove and let the bread sit for 5 minutes in the steamer before removing it.
  • For color, you can use taro paste for purple, pandan paste for green, etc
