Ingredients
- 315 gr high protein flour
- 100 gr pumpkin that has been steamed and crushed
- 25 gr sugar
- 4 g instant yeast
- 10 grams of powdered milk
- 50 gr eggs
- 100-120 gr cold liquid milk (I use 100 gr/tgt water content in the pumpkin)
- 4 g salt
- 32 gr butter / margarine
Filling
- Chocolate peanut butter, or
- If you like it, you can also fill it with yellow pumpkin and mix it with butter and sugar, or with cream cheese.
How to make
- 1. Pour milk, sugar, eggs, pumpkin, instant yeast in a bowl, stir. Add flour, milk powder, salt, mixer/knead until smooth, add butter, knead again until elastic.
- 2. Round up, cover with cling wrap, let stand until doubled.
- 3. Deflate the dough, divide the dough into 8-10, round it and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 4. Roll out the dough, fill with filling, round again, arrange on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or smeared with margarine.
- 5. Let stand until doubled, put the bottle cap on top of the bread, sprinkle with sifted flour, remove the bottle cap, cut the sides into 8 pieces with a sharp knife.
- 6. Bake at 180°C, fire up and down until browned, remove from heat.
- Notes:
- If the pumpkin is too runny after steaming, discard the water and can be heated with a wok beforehand to reduce the moisture content.
