Pumpkin Lining Material

  • 200gr steamed/boiled pumpkin (150 gr steamed purple sweet potato)
  • 100 gr sugar
  • 200 ml medium thick coconut milk
  • tsp salt
  • 1 pandan leaf
  • 300 ml water
  • 50 gr sago tani / tapioca / starch / aci
  • 2 tbsp rice flour

Coconut Milk Lining Bahan

  • 300 ml medium thick coconut milk
  • 25 gr cornstarch, dissolve with a little water
  • pinch of salt
  • A little taro paste (additional mamak)

How to Make a Melted Purple Potato Tray

  • 1. Make Pumpkin Layer: puree pumpkin + coconut milk + sugar, can be blended together. Then put it in a pan, add pandan leaves, boil until it boils over low heat.
  • 2. Add the tapioca solution + rice flour + water, immediately stir quickly until smooth and bubbly. Remove and pour into cups, 250 grams each (so 6 cups).
  • 3. Make the Coconut Milk Layer: boil the coconut milk and pandan leaves until it boils. Add the cornstarch solution. Cook until bubbling. Immediately pour over the pumpkin layer.
  • 4. Chill
