Crust Material

  • 200 gr Medium Protein Flour
  • 120 gr Margarine
  • 20 gr Refined Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ice Water

  • 1 tbsp Margarine
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 small carrot, boiled, cut into small cubes
  • 50 gr Corned Beef
  • 100 ml Plain Liquid Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • A tsp of Nutmeg Powder
  • A tsp of Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in a little water

Complementary

  • 1 Poached Egg, thinly sliced
  • Lettuce leaves to taste

How to Make Ragout Pie

  • 1. Crust: mix flour, margarine, powdered sugar, mix with a fork until it's grainy, add ice water, stir until combined.
  • 2. Print in an Oval mold weighing 36-37gr. Prick the surface with a fork, oven at 160'C 30 minutes until cooked.
  • 3. Ragout: heat margarine, saute garlic and onions until fragrant, add corned beef, mix well.
  • 4. Add liquid milk, season with salt, sugar, nutmeg and pepper, mix well.
  • 5. Enter the cornstarch solution, cook until the ragout thickens.
  • 6. Solution: cut the lettuce into small pieces, arrange on the pie shell, fill with ragout, put 1 slice of boiled egg on top.
