Banana Sponge No Oven No Mixer

banana sponge no oven no mixer

Ingredients

  • 4-5 very ripe bananas, medium size (I use Barangan bananas)
  • 200 gr wheat flour (sya: blue key)
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar/caster sugar
  • 150ml cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp good quality cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Filling/Cream layer

  • Glaze Tiramisu to taste (I bought it so, many brands, there are brands of Cholata, Elmer, Goldenfil etc., just choose according to taste)

How to make

  • 1. Prepare a baking sheet, I use a 22cm square pan, line it with baking paper. Heat the steamer, don't forget to put a napkin on the lid
  • 2. Blend the bananas until smooth (to taste, if you want a coarse blender, it's still not fine). set aside
  • 3. In a bowl, add eggs and powdered sugar, beat well using a whisk
  • 4. Enter the baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder, mix well using a whisk
  • 5. Add bananas, mix well using a whisk
  • 6. Enter the flour, stir as long as it doesn't take long, using a spatula
  • 7. Enter the cooking oil, mix well using a spatula, it doesn't take long
  • 8. Steam over low heat until cooked (about 30 minutes). Toothpick test using a toothpick/fork to check if it's cooked or not
  • 9. Once cooked, remove from the pan. Divide the cake into 2, then spread one of them with tiramisu glaze
  • 10. Stack the cakes, put in the refrigerator until set. Then cut according to taste
