Layer Kanji Roll
Ingredients
- 125 gr starch
- 12 g glutinous rice flour
- 80 gr sugar
- 250 ml coconut milk
- A little salt
- A little vanilla
- Red and white coloring
Method
- 1. Mix all the ingredients until the sugar is dissolved. Then strain.
- 2. Divide into 2, each part about 200gr more.
- 1 dough is colored red, 1 dough is left white.
- 3. Grease a 22 x 22 cm tin with vegetable oil thinly.
- 4. Heat the steamer, pour the white mixture, mix well before pouring into the pan, after pouring immediately put it into the steamer (so it doesn't settle). Steam for 5 minutes. Continue with the red layer, the same way.
- 5. Once cooked, wait a bit to cool, then turn it over in plastic. Roll and cut with a dough scraper.
