Bottom Layer Material (Pulut Sticky Rice)

  • 500 gr white sticky rice, soak for 4 hours, then drain
  • 200 gr instant coconut milk
  • 200-300 ml of water according to the sticky rice
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • Baking pan size 25x25x7

How to make

  • 1. Mix coconut milk, water, salt, mix well, set aside
  • 2. Grease a baking sheet with cooking oil, line it with clear plastic, put the drained glutinous rice into the pan, slowly pour coconut milk evenly, steam for 30-45 minutes, cover the pan with aluminum foil so that water does not fall into the steamed sticky rice until cooked
  • 3. Or Cook in a frying pan, glutinous rice, water, coconut milk, salt, cook until the coconut milk shrinks then steam for 30 minutes / until cooked, then print in a baking dish, flatten, set aside
  • 1. Heat the steamer
  • 2. Mix all ingredients together, stir using a whisk, then blend and strain
  • 3. Pour into the cooked glutinous rice with a vegetable spoon, do it until it runs out, steam for 30-45 minutes over medium heat tends to be low, don't forget to cover it with a cloth / pan, cover with aluminum foil, wait for it to cool then cut into pieces with a plastic spoon

Top Durian Coating Material

  • 140 gr rice flour
  • 60 gr tapioca flour
  • 60 gr all-purpose flour
  • 180-200 gr granulated sugar, the sweetness is adjusted to taste
  • 265 ml thick/instant coconut milk
  • 350 ml of water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 200 gr durian flesh
  • 1 tsp egg yolk coloring
  • 1/2 tsp light yellow coloring
  • 1/8 tsp dark green coloring
