Babongko Ingredients

  • 750 ml Medium Thickness Coconut Milk
  • 160 gr rice flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250 gr brown sugar, finely comb
  • Banana leaves, which have been softened

  • A mold made of cardboard in the shape of a triangle

How to Make Babongko

  • 1. Cook coconut milk with salt, cook until it boils, then take the thick top of about 150 ml, remove it
  • 2. Prepare a large bowl, add rice flour, then pour the hot coconut milk, stir quickly, stir until smooth, set aside
  • 3. Shape the banana leaf like in the video
  • 4. Take 2 banana leaves, then place the mold on it, fold the leaves according to the size of the mold, then take it out
  • 4. Enter 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, then pour 1 1/2 spoons of dough, put 2 tablespoons of thick coconut milk on top, cover the leaves, pin with a stick
  • 5. Do it until the dough is HBs
  • 6. Steam for 35-40 minutes
  • 7. Once cooked, lift, babongko ready to be served
