Cheese Filling Ingredients

  • 50 gr grated cheese
  • 30 g of powdered sugar
  • 25 g milk powder
  • Method: stir all the ingredients until they can be kneaded, then divide by 6, set aside

Pao Ingredients

  • 126 gr low protein flour
  • 20 gr granulated sugar (blender)
  • tsp instant yeast
  • tsp baking powder
  • 55 -60 ml cold water
  • 14 g white butter
  • tsp salt
  • coloring (optional)

How to make

  • 1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast and bp, mix well, then add water little by little. Knead until half smooth, add butter and salt, then knead again for 15 minutes, may add coloring while kneading. Once smooth, round and let stand 10 minutes.
  • 2. Divide the dough into 6 parts (36 g), round it, then flatten it and add the stuffing, shape according to taste. Place on parchment paper. Leave it for 20 -30 minutes.
  • 3. Steam for 12 minutes on medium-low heat. Don't forget to cover it with a cloth.
  • Note: when it's cooked, turn off the heat first, don't immediately open the lid of the steamer, leave it for 1 minute, then open the lid little by little. So that it doesn't shrink
