Ingredients

  • 225 gr caster sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean (I skipped it)
  • 175 gr low protein flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder (I used 1 tsp)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 60 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 75 gr yogurt
  • 60 ml cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract (I use vanilla powder)
  • 160 ml liquid milk

How to make

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 175⁰ C. Prepare a baking sheet filled with paper cups.
  • 2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Stir well.
  • 3. Add butter, beat lightly for about 3 minutes on medium mixer speed. The dough is not thick, it just scatters like sand.
  • 4. In another bowl, mix eggs, yogurt, oil and vanilla. Stir well.
  • 5. Pour into the flour mixture and then mix on medium speed as long as it's just mixed.
  • 6. Add liquid milk. Low speed mixer just average. The dough will be runny.
  • 7. Fill the paper cup more than 1/2 the height of the container. Bake for 14 minutes, or until cake is no longer sticking to the skewer.
  • 8. Once cooked remove and cool.
  • 9. Garnish with buttercream.
