Biscoff Scones

Ingredients

  • 250 low protein flour (blue key)
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp fine granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100gr cold salted butter, diced
  • 100 ml cold milk

How to make

  • 1. Mix the flour, sugar, salt, mix well, add the butter, crush it with a pastry knife until it becomes grainy, add the liquid milk a little bit until the dough comes together (enough milk adjusts to the dough, you don't need to run out)
  • 2. Roll out the dough with a diameter of 20cm, put biscoff jam in a semi-circle, fold it into a semi-circle, give another half of biscoff jam, fold it into a quarter circle, fold it again, roll it into a rectangle of about 10x15cm, wrap in plastic wrap and freeze
  • 3. Cut into 6 parts, brush the top with egg yolk, bake in the preheated oven, at 190C for 20 minutes/adjust according to each oven.
