Hotteok (korean Pancakes)
Ingredients
- – 150 gr medium pro flour
- – 25 g glutinous rice flour
- – 25 grams of sugar
- – 1/2 tsp yeast
- – 1/4 tsp salt
- – 140 ml of warm liquid milk
- - 1 tsp oil (I use coconut oil)
Stuffing
- – 50 gr roasted peanuts, blender
- – 50 grams of sugar
- – 1 tsp Munjung cinnamon powder (to taste)
How to make
- – In a bowl, mix & stir:
- Flour, sugar and yeast. Add warm liquid milk. Stir well .
- Add salt, stir again
- - Pour 1 tsp of oil, stir until completely blended. Roll the dough with the help of a spatula. Put the dough back in the bowl that has been lightly greased with oil. Closed .
- Rest for 1 hour until doubled in size
- – After 1 hour, press the dough. Grease your palms with a little oil, take the dough and divide it into 7 parts @ 49 – 50 gr. Flatten it, give 1 tablespoon of stuffing, then close tightly, round it.
- Do it until the dough and stuffing run out
- - Prepare a non-stick pan, add enough oil (you don't need a lot). Place the dough in the middle of the pan and press until it is flat (you can use a spatula). Cook until brown, turn. Cook again until golden brown. Lift
