Kastangel
Ingredients
- 250 gr low protein flour
- 200 gr butter (I mix margarine)
- 35 grams of powdered milk
- 35 gr cornstarch
- 2 egg yolks
- A pinch of salt (just a little or not, don't use salty and edam cheese too)
- 125 gr edam cheese (grated)
- 50 g cheddar cheese (grated for topping)
Spread
- 2 egg yolks from free-range chicken with red filling, if using domestic eggs, use omega, just 1 item, but choose the big one
- 1 tsp melted butter/oil
- Mix together
Method
- 1. Egg mixer at low speed, just a moment, as long as it's mixed
- 2. Enter the milk flour, stir with a spatula until well blended, add the grated edam cheese, mix well
- 3. Print according to taste, I just print it by hand, it's not weighed
- 4. After everything is done, rub it with a spread, I spread it 2x and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese
- 5. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees for 10 minutes
- 6. Oven 30 minutes fire up and down
