Lupis Rice Cooker

Ingredients

  • 200 gr glutinous rice, soak for 3 hours
  • 1 drop of pandan paste
  • Enough hot water
  • Banana leaf
  • Toothpick
  • Steamed grated coconut

Brown Sugar Kinca

  • 100 gr brown sugar
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 lb pandan leaves

How to make

  • 1. Mix the drained glutinous rice with pandan paste, mix well.
  • 2. Take a banana leaf, shape it into a cone. Give 1.5 tablespoons of glutinous rice filling, then fold the triangle and close it, put a toothpick (you can see the video). Do it until it runs out.
  • 3. Put the lupis into the Rice Cooker, pour hot water. Press the Cook button, setting for 1 hour.
  • 4. After 1 hour, switch the button to Warm, let stand 30 minutes, remove and drain.
  • 5. Serve the lupis with steamed grated coconut and brown sugar.
