Ingredients

  • 500 gr of taro that has been peeled clean, grated or you can also crush it using a food processor
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp stir-fried ebi (take it from the topping, check the recipe below)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp mushroom stock
  • Mix all the ingredients above.

Other Ingredients

  • 100 gr rice flour
  • 50 gr tapioca flour/starch
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 100 ml room temperature water
  • 350 ml of water

How to make

  • 1. Mix rice flour and tapioca, pour 100 ml of room temperature water, mix well.
  • 2. Strain into a container, add 30 ml of vegetable oil.
  • 3. Boil 350 ml of water until it boils, pour it directly into the flour mixture while stirring until it becomes a thick dough.
  • 4. Add taro that has been mixed with other ingredients. Stir well.
  • 5. Pour into a baking dish that has been greased with vegetable oil.
  • 6. Steam for 30 minutes or until cooked, adjust to the thickness of the dough.

Complements/Toppings

  • 100 gr ebi, chopped/blender
  • 50 gr sweet radish, chopped/blender
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp sweet/salty soy sauce, according to taste
  • 1. Saute sweet radish with a little oil until fragrant, remove and set aside.
  • 2. Saute the garlic and ebi until fragrant, remove 2 tablespoons to mix into the taro.
  • 3. Enter the stir-fried radish into the ebi stir fry, add soy sauce according to taste, cook for a while then remove.
