Sardines Toast
Ingredients
- 1 can 155gr sardines @bantan.id
- 3 lbs of white bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 onion cut into small dice
- 1 scallion sliced
- Powdered broth
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Salt, pepper
- Sesame seeds
- 2 eggs beaten off
Cocolan Sauce Ingredients
- 1 small diced tomato
- 1 scallion thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- Salt
Method
- 1. Drain the sardines from the broth. Set aside the gravy
- 2. Saute triple onion until fragrant, add sardines and spices, crush with a spatula. Lift
- 3. Place the sardines on the bread.
- 4. Coat all parts of the bread with egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- 5. Fry the bread in hot oil. Don't turn it over, just pour hot oil on the top of the bread, fry it until it's brown. Lift.
- 6. Sauce: heat the sardines, add the scallions, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Add salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the gravy is thick. Lift.
- 7. Serve the bread with the dipping sauce.
