Ingredients
- 250 gr butter (150 gr butter 100 gr margarine)
- 100 gr granulated sugar (blend sugar)
- 7 egg yolks
- 200 gr low protein flour (blue key)
- 20 gr milk powder
- 7 egg whites
- 1 tsp lemon/lime juice/ 1 tsp cooking vinegar
- 80 gr sugar
- 100 gr dried cranberries (optional)
- (50 gr in the bottom of the pan, 50 gr mixed into the dough)
How to make
- 1. Beat butter and powdered sugar until pale and fluffy, add eggs one by one
- 2. Add flour and powdered milk (sifted), stir until smooth
- 3. In another bowl, beat the egg whites with lemon juice until foamy, then add the sugar gradually, beat until soft peaks
- 4. Mix the beaten egg whites gradually (3x) into the egg yolk mixture. Fold back with a spatula
- 5. Finally add the cranberries, then mix well again
- 6. Prepare a baking sheet that has been greased / carlo, place the cranberries on the bottom of the pan, then pour the cake batter.
- 7. Bake in a preheated oven on top and bottom of 175 C for 15 minutes, lower 150⁰C for 40 minutes, lower again to 140⁰C for 15 minutes.
- 8. Once cooked, remove from the oven, wait 2 minutes, then remove from the pan
