Chocolate Old Sponge
Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks
- 5 whole eggs
- 130 gr sugar
- 85 gr low protein flour
- 15 gr cocoa powder
- 10 g cornstarch
- 2 tbsp sweetened condensed cream/SKM
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (can substitute with rum for a more fragrant result)
- 1 tsp blackforest paste/chocolate paste
- 150 gr butter/margarine, melted
Spread And Topping
- Buttercream
- Blackforest pasta/chocolate pasta
- Meises red and green to taste
How to make
- 1. Mixer eggs and sugar using HAND MIXER MX-200 @mito.id at high speed until fluffy and thick with traces.
- 2. Enter the flour, cocoa powder and cornstarch while sifting, divide into 3 stages. Mixer on low speed as long as it is mixed.
- 3. Mix vanilla extract, SKM, blackforest paste into melted butter. Enter a little dough and mix well, pour into the main mixture. Fold until combined, do not overmix.
- 4. Pour into a round tin with a diameter of 20cm t.7 cm which is smeared with margarine and lined with baking paper.
- 5. Bake in TOP MO-999 OVEN @mito.id at 170 low heat for 20 minutes then top and bottom fire for 30 minutes / until cooked.
- 6. Wait for it to cool and decorate according to taste.
