Marble Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 150 gr butter
- 45 gr caster sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 150 gr low pro flour
- 45 gr liquid milk
- 15 gr cocoa powder
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 90 gr sugar
How to make
- 1. Mixer butter and caster sugar until shiny
- 2. Enter the egg yolks one by one
- 3. Add flour and milk alternately, mixer on low speed. set aside
- 4. Mixer egg whites and COTT, with a little sugar. after foaming, mixer on high speed and add a little sugar. Mixer until soft peak (can't fall if you turn it over)
- 5. Add 1/3 of the egg whites to the first mixture, mix again.
- 6. Once evenly distributed, add the mixture to the remaining egg white mixture, stir until blended.
- 7. Take 1/3 of the dough, add cocoa powder (sifted), mix well.
- 8. Put into a baking sheet that has been smeared with Carlo / give parchment paper. Insert the hose. Then beat and make a marble motif with a skewer.
- 9. Oven 150/170 for the first 20 minutes, remove and then divide the dough (not to the ends). Return to the oven for approximately 40-60 minutes.
- 10. Better yet, put a small baking sheet filled with water in the oven to make it more moist
- 11. Stab test, lift, remove from pan, put on cooling rack.
- 12. Cut after cold, serve
