Butter Cake Tape

Ingredients

  • 10 egg yolks
  • 300 g powdered sugar
  • 230 gr low protein flour
  • 350 gr butter
  • 50 gr powdered milk
  • 60 ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 150 gr cassava tape
  • 7 egg whites, beaten separately

Method

  • - Puree the tape, mix with SKM
  • - Beat butter with powdered sugar until white for about 10 minutes.. then add the tape & skm, beat for 3 minutes until smooth, then add egg yolks one by one, beat for 8-10 minutes, next add flour + milk powder, beat again with mixer speed at the lowest until smooth (or stir with a spatula) lastly add beaten egg whites, stir back with a spatula until homogeneous..
  • -Pour into a greased / carlo tin
  • - Bake with a fire up and down at a temperature of around 160'c for 20 minutes then lower it to 140-150° for about 40 minutes (depending on each oven, the temperature is not the same in each oven)
  • Take a toothpick test, let it cool for 5 minutes, then remove it from the tin, cut it into pieces...(the stay is getting better 😍👍🏻)
