Spice Sponge
Spice Sponge Ingredients
- *5 eggs
- *120 g brown sugar finely combed
- *30 g sugar
- *1 tsp squeeze sp
- 125 g flour
- 25 g cornstarch
- 25 g milk powder
- 1 tsp of speck
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 120 g margarine/butter or margarine mix butter
How to Process Spice Sponge
- Melt the margarine/butter over low heat, don't let it boil, if most of it has melted, turn off the heat, the rest will melt by itself. Let it come to room temperature
- Sift dry ingredients, set aside
- Beat ingredients marked * until fluffy and thick
- Gradually add dry ingredients, mix with a spatula (I mixed on the lowest speed)
- Gradually add melted butter, mix until smooth (I used a mixer on the lowest speed)
- Pour into a baking sheet that has been greased and dusted with flour (I used a size 22 Tulban pan).
- Give topping if you like
- Bake until done. Remove from the pan, let it cool down until it's not too hot. Ready to cut into slices and serve
