Kladdkake (swedish Chocolate Cake)
Ingredients
- 150 gr butter, melted
- 225 gr sugar
- 2 eggs
- 125 gr all-purpose flour
- 40 gr (4-5 tbsp) cocoa powder
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar /
- 1/2 tsp salt
How to make
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175°C from top to bottom. Prepare a 22cm round tin with a little butter, and sprinkle with a little flour until evenly distributed.
- 2. In a bowl, beat / mixer butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Add flour, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar and salt. Stir with a spatula until well combined and a lump-free dough is formed.
- 3. Pour the batter into the pan. Smooth the surface.
- 4. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the surface of the cake sets. Turn off the oven.
- 5. Let the cake cool at room temperature before cutting and serving. Give a sprinkling of icing sugar and fresh berries, if you like.
