Material A
- 6 egg yolks
- 3 egg whites
- 170 gr blue key flour
- 170 powdered sugar
- 240 gr butter (I mix with margarine)
- 15 gr cocoa powder
- 20 gr milk powder
- 1 tablespoon red dye / red velvet (adjust the dye until you get the red color)
- 6 tbsp whip cream (can replace liquid milk)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Material B
- 250 gr cream cheese
- 100 gr powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp liquid whip cream
How to make
- Beat ingredients B..except cornstarch until soft and fluffy, then add cornstarch..stir well set aside
- Beat ingredients A..butter & sugar until white fluffy..add eggs one by one (the whites too), beat again until white..then add flour, cocoa powder & milk powder.. alternating with whip cream and coloring, beat on the lowest speed until well mixed..
- Pour into a baking sheet that has been buttered & sprinkled with flour (I use carlo), alternating with ingredients B cheese cream.. Bake at an initial temperature of about 170°C for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 150°C from top to bottom for 40 minutes. (Keep adjusting the oven temperature msg2 yaa….)
- Test with a toothpick, if there is no stickiness, remove it...
Cheese Filling Ingredients
- 150 gr cream cheese
- 100 gr powdered sugar
- 50 gr butter/margarine
- 3 tbsp whip cream
- 5-6 tablespoons liquid milk (if it's still not runny, you can add more)
How to Make Filling
- Beat cream cheese, butter & sugar until soft and fluffy..
- add whip cream then milk
- Don't add all of the consistency test if you have enough milk... that's it, pour it on the cake...
