1. In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, cardamom, saffron/turmeric/yellow coloring, and sugar. Stir well. Add milk and eggs. Knead briefly until well blended. Lastly add butter and salt. Knead until really smooth and elastic. Roll out the dough, cover tightly and keep in a warm place for 60 minutes.
2. Deflate the dough. Divide into 12-16 pcs.
3. Take 1 dough. Elongated shape (cf. tutorial). Do it until the dough runs out.
4. Shape the dough like the letter S or according to taste. Place 2 raisins on both ends of the dough while pressing. Do it until the ingredients run out.
5. Arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Give some distance. Cover tightly and keep in a warm place for 60 minutes.
6. Preheat the oven to 190°C from top to bottom.
7. Grease the dough with egg wash. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes / until cooked and golden. Adjust to each oven. Turn off the oven. Serve lussekatter while warm / room temperature.
