Durian Sticky Rice

Material A

  • 250 gr glutinous rice soaked for 1 hour
  • 250 ml coconut milk
  • 3 pandan leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Ingredient B (Durian Sauce)

  • 500 ml coconut milk
  • 150 gr palm sugar (according to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • 2 bunches of pandan leaves
  • 200 gr durian flesh
  • **** Additional ingredients: Fresh durian fruit

How to make

  • Steamed glutinous rice that has been soaked for 15 minutes
  • -Heat the coconut milk, pandan, sugar and salt
  • -Cook over medium heat, stir until it boils then turn off the heat
  • - Put the steamed glutinous rice into the coconut milk, stir well until the coconut milk seeps into the glutinous rice
  • - Steam the glutinous rice again for 15 minutes or more (until the sticky rice is soft)

How to Make Durian Sauce

  • -boil coconut milk, palm sugar, pandan leaves until the sugar dissolves, add vanilla powder, mix well
  • -after boiling and the sugar dissolves, add the durian meat, mix well and turn off the heat

Serving method

  • -prepare a bowl, arrange the sticky rice into a bowl, give durian fruit and then pour the gravy into it
  • -serve while warm
