Banana Cake/banana Sponge

Ingredients

  • – 6 Ambon bananas (4 mashed + 2 pieces lengthwise for topping)
  • - 4 eggs
  • – 200 gr sugar
  • – 200 gr blue triangle flour
  • – 200 gr melted butter/margarine
  • – 2 tbsp milk powder
  • – 1/4 tsp vanilla powder
  • – 1/4 tsp tbm/sp
  • – 1/4 tsp salt

How to make

  • - Mash the bananas with a fork, set aside
  • - Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla and tbm until stiff.
  • Sift flour, milk powder and salt, then add little by little gradually, beating on the lowest speed.
  • Then add the Ambon banana that has been mashed, stir with a spatula, mixer again on the lowest speed until well blended.
  • - Finally add melted butter, stir until evenly distributed with a spatula, beat again on the lowest speed for a minute, turn off the mixer.
  • Prepare a baking sheet, grease with a little butter, sprinkle with a little flour.
  • - Pour the batter into the tin, top it with banana slices
  • - Bake in the oven until cooked according to each oven
