Rainbow Steamed Sponge
Materials
- 4 eggs
- 150 gr sugar
- 1/2 tbsp SP Koepoe Koepoe
- 150 gr low protein flour
- 27 g milk powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder Koepoe Koepoe
- 1 sachet skm
- 1 small pack of instant coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp Koepoe Koepoe vanilla paste
- pinch of salt
- 150 ml cooking oil
- Koepoe Koepoe food coloring (purple, blue, light green, light yellow, orange, red chili).
- Topping: buttercream and grated cheese
How to make
- 1. Mix flour, milk powder, and baking powder, set aside.
- 2. Heat the steamer over medium heat, cover the pot with a cloth/napkin.
- 3. Mix the eggs, sugar, until the sugar is dissolved, enter the sp mixer until it stretches, add the flour mixture gradually alternating with the skm, coconut milk and salt on low speed, mix until just blended. Finally, add the oil and mix with a spatula.
- 4. Divide the 6 dough evenly, add coloring to each, mix well.
- 5. Prepare a 20 x 10 cm baking sheet with baking paper. Heat the steamer.
- 6. Pour the purple dough, flatten and steam for 7 minutes. Pour the blue mixture again, steam for 7 minutes, do so until it runs out in the order of purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red dough. Finally steam for 20 minutes.
- 7. Lift and remove from the pan.
- 8. Let cool and add toppings.
