Red Bean Filled Bakpao

Ingredients

  • 250 gr blue key flour
  • 50 gr refined sugar
  • 4 gr Yeast
  • 125 ml Water
  • 2 g Salt
  • 10 gr white butter (if you don't have it, you can use oil)
  • Filling: Red bean jam

Method

  • 1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast and water. Mixer until half smooth. Add the white butter and salt, mix again until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  • 2. Divide and round the dough 40 grams each. Rest until fluffy (cover with a cloth napkin).
  • 3. Flatten then give the filling, cover and round again. Rest again for about 20 minutes or until lightly puffed (cover with a cloth napkin).
  • 4. Preheat the steamer for about 10 minutes. Then add the pao and steam for 10 minutes.
