Yeast Tape Cake

Ingredients

  • 250gr cassava tape, mashed & remove the middle bone
  • 125gr granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 250gr wheat flour
  • 20gr milk powder
  • 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  • 200ml coconut milk (2 packs of instant coconut milk @65ml + water)
  • 50gr margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt

How to make

  • 1. Cook coconut milk & margarine until margarine melts, set aside.
  • 2. Beat with a tape whisk, sugar & eggs until sugar is dissolved.
  • 3. Enter the flour, milk powder, yeast, coconut milk + margarine that has been cooked earlier. Beat until smooth & well blended.
  • 4. Finally add salt, mix well.
  • 5. Cover the dough using a clean cloth, rest 1 hour.
  • 6. Heat the pan & grease with margarine.
  • 7. Pour the batter as much as 3/4 of the mold, then cover the pan & bake on low heat.
  • 8. Turn the dough over when the top is set, cook again until the bottom is browned.
  • 9. Lift & serve.
