What's in the Rolls?

Where Do Rolled Pancakes Come From?

Dadar roll is a traditional food typical of the city of Bandung which is round and elongated and inside there is grated coconut mixed with liquid Java sugar. This traditional food is made from a mixture of wheat flour, coconut milk, salt, and pandan paste which functions as a flavoring and green color.

Unti Bahan

  • 250 gr coconut half old, grated lengthwise
  • 150 gr coconut sugar/brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 lbr Pandan Leaves, conclude
  • 100 ml Water

How to make

  • Boil water, brown sugar, granulated sugar and pandan leaves until it boils.
  • Remove And Strain.
  • Bring the brown sugar and pandan leaves to a boil again, add the coconut.
  • Cook until the water dries up. Lift And Set aside.
  • 1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients, stir until the sugar is dissolved, the dough is smooth and there are no lumps. Strain until it's perfectly smooth
  • 2. Heat a pan or Teflon. Take a piece of tissue, dip it in the oil and then apply it to Teflon
  • 3. After the Teflon is really hot (so that it results from the pockmarked rolled omelet skin), pour 1 tablespoon of vegetables. Rotate Teflon, so that the thickness is even. Reduce the heat. Once the omelet changes color and the edges come off the Teflon, take it out. Let it cool just filled with unti.

  • * serving 18 pcs (Teflon diameter 20cm)
  • 125 gr medium protein flour
  • 10 gr tapioca flour
  • 15 gr granulated sugar (sy, sugar in a blender for a while)
  • 2 g Salt
  • 1 pc Egg (sy, small size)
  • 2 tbsp Pandan juice precipitate
  • 65 ml Instant coconut milk
  • 280 ml Water
  • Oil for greasing Teflon
