Steamed Apem Tape Ingredients

  • 100 gr cassava tape (choose really soft)
  • 140 gr sugar
  • 270 ml of warm coconut milk
  • 150 gr rice flour
  • 30 g all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • Enough coloring

How to Make Steamed Apem Tape

  • * mash the tape with sugar and salt
  • * add rice flour and wheat flour, pour in the coconut milk little by little while stirring until smooth
  • * add instant yeast, mix well. Cover, let stand 30 minutes
  • * divide the dough into several bowls, add coloring, mix well
  • * Pour into a mold that has been smeared with thin oil, don't be too full.
  • *steam for 20 minutes
