Ingredients Apple & Cheddar Bread Pudding

  • 10 lbs of white bread without skin
  • 30 gr butter / margarine
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
  • 80 gr extra grated Cheddar cheese 20 gr
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 100 gr sugar
  • 200 ml liquid milk

How to Make Apple & Cheddar Bread Pudding

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 190C. Line a square/round baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar and milk until dissolved. Set aside.
  • 3. Spread the bread with butter / margarine. Arrange 2 slices of bread on a baking sheet. Give the apple slices. Sprinkle cheese. Do it until the ingredients run out.
  • 4. Slowly pour the egg mixture onto the bread. Press until the solution is absorbed. Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese.
  • 5. Bake in the oven for 20-25, until the surface is crispy and browned. Turn off the oven.
  • 6. Wait until the bread pudding is warm enough before cutting.
