Barley Porridge / Sekoi
Ingredients for Barley Porridge / Sekoi
- 5 tbsp barley / sekoi (washed)
- 600 ml water
- 75 gr brown sugar (finely chopped and cooked with 100 ml of water, then strain)
- 3 tablespoons sugar or to taste
- pinch of salt
Coconut Milk
- 130 ml of instant coconut milk (2 carats in small packs)
- 100 ml water
- pinch of salt
- Method: Mix all ingredients, cook until cooked over medium heat, stirring constantly.
How to Make Barley Porridge / Sekoi
- 1. Put the barley and water in a saucepan. Cook until the barley is soft and cracked, stirring occasionally so it doesn't stick.
- 2. Enter the solution of brown sugar, sugar, and salt. Stir until dissolved and well mixed. Taste correction, lift.
- 3. Serve the porridge with coconut milk.
