Ingredients for Barley Porridge / Sekoi

  • 5 tbsp barley / sekoi (washed)
  • 600 ml water
  • 75 gr brown sugar (finely chopped and cooked with 100 ml of water, then strain)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar or to taste
  • pinch of salt

Coconut Milk

  • 130 ml of instant coconut milk (2 carats in small packs)
  • 100 ml water
  • pinch of salt
  • Method: Mix all ingredients, cook until cooked over medium heat, stirring constantly.

How to Make Barley Porridge / Sekoi

  • 1. Put the barley and water in a saucepan. Cook until the barley is soft and cracked, stirring occasionally so it doesn't stick.
  • 2. Enter the solution of brown sugar, sugar, and salt. Stir until dissolved and well mixed. Taste correction, lift.
  • 3. Serve the porridge with coconut milk.
