Ingredients

  • 80 gr sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sp
  • 300 gr glutinous rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 45 gr margarine
  • 3 tablespoons of whiting water, take the clear part
  • 1 small instant coconut milk sachet (use as needed, don't need to pour all of it)
  • Sesame to taste.
  • The oil for frying.

Method

  • Beat sugar, eggs, salt and sp until the sugar is completely dissolved. You can use a mixer, manual whisk or whisk.
  • Add margarine, glutinous rice flour and whiting water. Knead while pouring enough coconut milk until the dough is soft, smooth and pleasantly shaped.
  • Coconut milk doesn't have to be all gone... Use it as needed.
  • The dough is a bit soft so that the sesame sticks well.
  • Put the dough into a triangular plastic bag. Tie it tightly and then make a hole in the end about the size of a soy sauce/sauce bottle.
  • Spray the dough on a container containing sesame for about 3-4 cm or according to taste.
  • Shake the bowl containing the sesame seeds until the dough is evenly coated with the sesame seeds. Take it and put it in another container. Do it until the dough runs out.
  • Heat the oil on medium heat.
  • After the oil is really hot, reduce the heat, add the cake batter and fry over low heat. Don't go back and forth until the cake has risen and is a bit firm so the sesame doesn't fall out.
  • Fry until golden brown. Lift. Drain.
  • While still hot the cake still feels a little soft when bitten, after it cools it will harden by itself.
  • Store in a closed container to keep it crispy.
