Chocolate Steamed Sponge

Ingredients

  • – 6 eggs
  • – 200 gr sugar
  • – 100 gr wheat flour
  • – 60 gr cocoa powder
  • – 15 gr cornstarch
  • – 75 gt dark compound chocolate (melted) ⁣
  • – 150 gr butter (melted)

How to make

  • - heat the steamer over medium heat, prepare a 20cm tin, line it with parchment paper and spread margarine thinly.
  • – Sift flour, cocoa powder and cornstarch, set aside
  • – mix well the melted butter and dark compound chocolate, set aside
  • - beat eggs and sugar with a mixer on high speed, until thick and trailing (use fresh eggs, if not then you can add 1/2 tablespoon sp) ⁣
  • - reduce the speed of the mixer, add the flour mixture little by little until blended
  • Turn off the mixer, add the butter mixture to the mixture, stir again until well blended. ⁣
  • Steam for 30 minutes on medium heat, test with a toothpick to make sure the cake is cooked or not
  • - Cool the cake, decorate according to taste
