Chocolate Steamed Sponge
Ingredients
- – 6 eggs
- – 200 gr sugar
- – 100 gr wheat flour
- – 60 gr cocoa powder
- – 15 gr cornstarch
- – 75 gt dark compound chocolate (melted)
- – 150 gr butter (melted)
How to make
- - heat the steamer over medium heat, prepare a 20cm tin, line it with parchment paper and spread margarine thinly.
- – Sift flour, cocoa powder and cornstarch, set aside
- – mix well the melted butter and dark compound chocolate, set aside
- - beat eggs and sugar with a mixer on high speed, until thick and trailing (use fresh eggs, if not then you can add 1/2 tablespoon sp)
- - reduce the speed of the mixer, add the flour mixture little by little until blended
- Turn off the mixer, add the butter mixture to the mixture, stir again until well blended.
- Steam for 30 minutes on medium heat, test with a toothpick to make sure the cake is cooked or not
- - Cool the cake, decorate according to taste
