Lotus Fried Bread
Material A
- – 3gr yeast
- – 1 tsp sugar
- – 130ml lukewarm water
Material B
- – 225gr high/medium protein flour
- – 27gr milk powder
- – 30gr sugar
- – 1 egg yolk
- – 1/4 tsp salt
- – 30gr margarine
Toppings
- ( Suit one's taste)
- – white chocolate, melted
- – lotus biscoff spread
- – lotus biscuit crumbs
Method
- – mix ingredients A, stir briefly, cover, let stand 10 minutes until foamy, set aside
- - mix flour, milk powder, sugar, egg yolk and ingredients A
- Knead until smooth using a fork/spoon
- (I use a mixer yes)
- - Add margarine and salt and knead again until smooth
- Let stand 50 minutes / doubled in size
- – Deflate the dough, knead briefly, then divide the dough into 13 / @36gr
- – Rounding until smooth, flat round shape, cover and let stand 30 minutes
- - Fry in hot oil, over low heat, just flip it once
- - add toppings according to taste, I'm white chocolate lotus biscoff spread lotus crumbs
- - ready to be served
